About Dahlia Behavioral
Therapy is about meeting YOUR needs.
Walking into the office, you’ll notice it is bright, warm, and comfortable. The light is soft, the air feels calm, and there’s space for you to be exactly who you are in that moment – whether that’s guarded, tearful, restless, or unsure. You don’t have to “perform” here. All you need to do is show up.
When you sit across from me, you’ll find that therapy isn’t a monologue where you talk and I nod. It’s a conversation – sometimes deep, sometimes surprisingly light, but always focused on moving you toward healing and clarity.
You’ll be heard and gently challenged. I’m here to help you notice patterns, question old beliefs, and start shifting what no longer serves you.
Together, we identify the issues and find solutions.
A session with me might start with you unpacking your week or diving into something weighing on your mind. We’ll explore it together – looking at the surface and layers beneath. You might learn to track your body’s stress signals, practice grounding exercises, or reframe a story you’ve carried for years.
Some days, we might laugh at the unexpected because there’s room for levity even in healing. Other days, we will sit with hard truths, knowing that facing them is part of freeing ourselves from them.
Clients are often surprised by how quickly therapy can feel safe, even if you’ve spent years keeping walls up. You might be surprised at how much you learn about yourself in the first month.
And you might be surprised to find that the therapy room isn’t just about “talking about feelings,” it’s about learning practical, real-life skills for managing them.
Consider me your guide.
You’ll notice how I listen without rushing you and that I am calm in your silence, anger, tears, and fears. I allow you to feel those emotions work through your body and soul with someone to walk beside you through those moments.
Our work together is not about fixing you but providing guidance as you build your desired life.
I work with individuals, couples, and families facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based techniques, and the belief that you are more resilient than you realize.
We’ll work toward emotional stability, improved relationships, and a renewed sense of self-worth together.
Healing is never linear.
Many clients find that within a few months, they’re:
- Recognizing and interrupting harmful patterns.
- Communicating more clearly in relationships.
- Managing stress and emotions with more confidence.
- Beginning to envision and believe in a future that feels worth living.
Let’s make the changes you desire.
Therapy with me is not just about feeling better at that moment. It’s about creating lasting change you can carry outside the therapy room and into the rest of your life.
If you are ready to step into a space where your story is safe, your growth is supported, and your future is possible, I am here to meet you where you are.
About Me
Meeting clients’ needs is my goal.
My mission is to help individuals and families navigate difficult life transitions and heal from trauma by creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for growth.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Somatic Techniques, I tailor each session to meet my clients where they are mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Since 2021, I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds, guiding them toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being.
After earning my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2022, I have continued to deepen my skills and commitment to helping others reclaim their lives.
Outside of the therapy room,
I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and my two huskies, Basil and Anika. I also enjoy traveling, watching movies, and getting lost in a good book.
